Our favorite roadtrip is to take to the 101 and Pacific Coast Highway to drive up to enjoy the beautiful and peaceful pace of central California. I’ve taken to doing water colors postcards on the road and I’ve enjoyed myself doing them, that I want to continue doing so and share the results!
A favorite of ours is Madonna Inn, and no it’s not related to Madonna the singer.
Next we stopped by another hidden gem, Morro Bay. Walked the streets and stopped by the local nursery, The Garden Gallery.
Followed by Santa Cruz, hit up the boardwalk. And I must say this is the best boardwalk I’ve ever been to.
Lastly, on our return, we went to Solvang. One of our favorite towns to visit for the beautiful and charming town, tasty pastries and resurants, wine tasting rooms, and overall quaint small town vibe. We also stop by Flag Is Up Farm every time we stop by, I love riding horses and Monty Roberts and ShyBoy are idols of mine.
