What is it: Borrowing a local’s couch or spare bed for a visit in an area. All around the world.

My thoughts: This could be highly dangerous and weirdos could be lurking around very post. OR. It could actually be great fun, if I were more outgoing and less suspicious of possibilities that could happen. It might actually work out to be fun, if I weren’t some single young lady, hosting a family from Croatia or a couple from Japan in my house would be enlightening. I think I would have loved to accepted “couch inquiries”.

As long as guests contact ahead of time, arrangements are made, and everyone has time this site can be a traveler’s saving grace when it comes to pinching pennies. Sometimes the host/hostess themselves can also be a local tour guide for visitors. Signing up is also free!
